In a bid to enable Women take independent decisions, to increase the efficiency in girls, child Education and to stop child marriage, the has started an important scheme Savitribai Phule Kishori Smardhi Yojana. Under this plan the District Administration has given financial benefits to 32 school students.
Under the scheme, girl students who are in 8th and 9th class, will get Rs 2500 financial assistance from the State government. The students of class 11th and 12th will receive the 5,000 cash benefit. The girls who are between 18-19 years of age will be one time benefit with cash Rs 20,000.
