ADigital Banking Unit(DBU) was opened at Gogol as part of the 75 DBUs dedicated to the nation byPrime Minister Narendra Modion Sunday to commemorate the 75 years of Independence of our country.

The DBU at Gogol, which is being operated by https://exam.pscnotes.com/state-bank-of-india”>State Bank Of India, will be operational24X7, with Services such as cash deposit and withdrawal, account opening, fixed deposit transactions and passbook printing.

The Centre choseSouth Goaas one of the 75 districts across the nation where DBUs would be opened.

The aim of the DBU is to ensurefinancial inclusionand access to Banking services at all times.
