AsAdani Green EnergyLimited (AGEL) commissioned a 130 megawatt (MW) wind power plant in Kutch, Gujarat, its total operational wind generation capacity crossed 1GW. The plant has been commissioned by Adani Kutch Five Limited, an AGEL subsidiary.
The plant now has a power purchase agreement (PPA) over 25 years, of 130 MW with Solar Energy corporation of India (SECI) at Rs 2.83 per kiloWattHour (kWH)
With the commissioning of the plant, AGELs total operational RENEWABLE ENERGY generation capacity rose to 8,216 megawatt (MW). AGEL has set a vision to achieve 45GW renewable energy capacity by 2030.
