The yatra christened as Jan Ashirwad Yatra is scheduled to begin on August 16, the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. In Jharkhand, Annapurna Devi the Koderma MP and newly inducted minister in the Modi Cabinet will be the star attraction of Jan Ashirwad Yatra. Annapurna, the first time MP from Koderma has been made Minister of State for Education in the Modi Cabinet.
The outreach programme, named Jan Ashirwad Yatra, will have the 39 newly inducted Cabinet ministers cover 22 states, including 212 Parliamentary seats, and 265 districts in total.
