According to theMillion Missions Reportreleased at theJaipur Literature Festival, 58% of non-profit organisations (NPOs) have reported an increase inbudgetsizes, while 22% witnessed a decrease in the past five years. The rest 20% said their budgets have stayed the same.
The non-profit sector report revealed that for 56% of the NPOs, the number of sources has increased in the last five years, with 22% reporting they stayed the same and 22% suggesting a decrease.
Small organizations with less than Rs 1 crore expenditure constitute 62%, followed by medium-sized organizations having annual expenditure between Rs 1 crore and Rs 5 crore at 21% and large organizations with having over Rs 5 crore constitute 17% of the sample number.
