Min for expansion of C-PYTE camps

To provide training to the youth aspiring to join the military and paramilitary forces, Punjab EMPLOYMENT generation, Skill development and training ministerAman Aroraon Saturday directed the officials concerned to conduct a survey to check the feasibility to expand theCentre for Training and Employment of PunjabYouth (C-PYTE) camps in the state.
Arora, while chairing a review meeting, asked the director general, C-PYTE, Major GeneralRambir Singh Mann(Retd) to revamp existing C-PYTE camps, for which the required budget would be allocated by the .

The minister also said the main objective of thePunjab Skill Development Missionshould be to enable the youth to take up Industry-relevant skill training, which would help them in securing a better livelihood.
Focus should be on bridging the gap between skilled manpower and industry requirements,Arorasaid while asking the officials to start training courses according to the needs of the industry so that skilled youth didnt have to face any hardship in getting jobs.

The minister said the C-PYTE training would help the youth to channelise their energy in a better way and give them direction to live a disciplined life. C-PYTE can play a pivotal role in imparting training to youth aspiring to join the armed forces, he said.
