Bastar in Chhattisgarh was on Sunday declared the ‘Most Promising New Destination’ on the tourist map and an Excellence Award was presented to the Bastar district administration on the final day of the Travel and Tourism Fair in Kolkata.

During the Fair, special stalls for Bastar based tourism, culture and artefacts were displayed. The key tourist destinations of Chitrakote, Teertha, Bijakasa, Koserteda, Madarkonta, Mahendrighumar, Teerathgarh, Topar and Michnar were highlighted.

The has undertaken a series of Infrastructure development to facilitate tourism in Bastar division.
