Exporters and investors said on Monday that Chhattisgarh has great potential to boost exports but they sought concessions for transportation as it is a landlocked state.
The exporters and investors were participating in the Export Outreach Programme in Nava Raipur.
They discussed ways to increase exports from the state along with making Raipur district a hub.
The Directorate General of , New Delhi, and the Raipur District Administration organized the event, an official Communication said.
The exporters sought to continue the exemption of 5 percent in mandi fee issued to increase the export of rice, which is effective for a year. The exemption will end by next two months.
