TheManipurgovernments department of information technology has signed an agreement with KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI), KIIT deemed to be University to establish Manipur Technology Innovation Hub (MTI-Hub).
The MTI-Hub, which will be set up with KIIT-TBI under PPP model, will promote in Manipur. Amit Shah, Union minister of Home and cooperation, laid the foundation stone of MTI-Hub virtually in the presence of Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh.
According to the agreement, the Manipur government will provide furnished 10,000 square feet built up space with part of operation cost.
KIIT-TBI, a technology business incubator, is a center of excellence. It is now reaching out to the East and Northeast regions of India and helping various stakeholders to establish sustainable incubation platforms.
