Chhattisgarhis all set to host the second edition of the National Tribal Dance Festival to promote, preserve, and provide a platform to showcase the rich, vibrant and state’s unique tribal culture and cultural exchange among indeginous people coming from across the country and abroad.
As many as 59 tribal dancers from 27 states and six union territories of the country and seven countries will showcase their unique dance forms and diverse tribal culture in the fest beginning on Thursday. Around 1,000 artists will be part of these dance troupes, of which 63 will be foreign artists from Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Swaziland, Nigeria, Palestine, Male, and Uganda.
Chhattisgarh is said to be the first state of the country to organize this biggest tribal dance festival with a large congregation of tribal artists from the whole country and abroad.
