Export of Services from Mihan-SEZ, which mainly include Software and aircraft maintenance, has gone up by 22%. As a SEZ, the units here have to essentially export the products or services, generating net Foreign Exchange earnings (NFE).
The data released by the development commissioners office for financial year 2022-23, which just ended, saw services export rise to 1,30,602 crore as against 1,07,358 crore last fiscal. Exports of physical products was at 41,594 crore as against 40,340 crore in FY 2021-22. This comes to a growth of 22% and 3%, respectively. Eleven new units, including Reliance DEFENCE, Kalpana Saroj Global Aviation, and Jai Armaments, have been given nod to start operations.
