Two-wheeler manufacturerOkinawa Autotech announced that it will invest Rs 500 crore to set up anEV manufacturingplant in Karoli, Rajasthan. After setting up two factories inRajasthan, this is the third manufacturing plant from the manufacturer that will be spread across 30 acres of land, says Okinawa.
The brand states that the fully-integrated electric two-wheeler plant will be operational from October 2023. Moreover, it added, the plant will offer EMPLOYMENT to more than 5,000 people.
The brand states that under the current joint venture withTacita, the manufacturing of the entire range of electric scooters and motorcycles will be done at this EV plant and these units are meant for domestic as well as international markets.
