Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy releases Rs 200 crore to ensure farmers welfare

Chief Minister YSJagan Mohan Reddyhas said that the government has transformed farming sector. He said the state could prosper only when the farmer is happy. He said that the government has implemented several welfare schemes for farmers in the last 40 months. JaganMohan Reddydisbursed input subsidy and zero interest amount to farmers on Monday. The has released 200 crore to farmers under the two schemes.
The chief minister has credited 39.39 crore towards input subsidy to the farmers who lost the crops during July-September 2022. Nearly 45,998 farmers have benefited from the scheme.

Similarly, the chief minister released 160.55 crore to 8.22 lakh farmers under zero interest benefit (YSR Sunna Vaddi Panta Runalu). Zero interest scheme is applicable to all those farmers availed crop loans below 1 lakh and repaid the amount within stipulated deadline by banks.
