Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday underlined the need to ensure arrangements for fodder, water and shade for cattle in more than 10,000 Gauthans across the state, given the prevailing heat condition.
The Chief Minister was addressing a virtual programme here. As part of the Godhan Nyay Yojana, he released Rs 4.40 crore online to rural farmers, Women self-help groups associated with Gauthans and Gauthan committees.
Baghel asked district Collectors and the Chief Executive Officers of the district Panchayat to visit the Gauthans. They should arrange for green fodder, sheds and water along with hay as additional stock.
