The Maharashtra government has announced Rs 15,000 per hectare bonus for them, thus fulfilling their long pending demand.
With a view to achieve the target of $ 1 trillion economy of Maharashtra, Shinde declared constituting an economic advisory committee to be
chaired by Tata Sons chairman N Chandrashekharan. Experts from diverse fields like , Education, Agriculture-notes-for-state-psc-exams”>Agriculture and others will be roped in too.Shinde also announced that the government will come up with a new textile policy next year and
it will continue till 2028. Our focus will be to implement modern technology in the textile sector, he said.
