on Monday kicked off a joint combat exercise with Uzbekistan at Pithoragarh inUttarakhand. The 14-day exercise – ‘Dustlik’ – will see Indian and Uzbek soldiers focus on joint counter-terrorist operations in mountainous and semi-urban scenarios under the UN mandate.
