Chief ministerShivraj Singh Chouhanhas said that a social revolution is taking place inMadhya Pradesh, in which Women are becoming self-dependent and their respect in the family and Society has increased. With Livelihood Mission, the government is providing assistance to women organized as self-help groups for various economic activities.

They will be given Rs 1000 per month from June 10, under schemes like Ladli Bahna, the CM said at theLadli BahnaSammelan-cum-Chief Ministers Residential Land Rights Scheme distribution ceremony at Sonkucch in Dewas district on Thursday. He also dedicated development works worth about Rs 90 crore, besides distributingAdhikar Patrasof the CM Residential Land Rights Scheme and benefits of other schemes.

The government gets every poor girl married under the Mukhya MantriKanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana. The government has decided to increase the amount given under this scheme from Rs 49,000 to Rs 51,000, he said.
