Chhattisgarh will soon draft a policy on electric vehicles (EV) in collaboration, which will be the best in country, said state transport minister Mohd Akbar.

Akbar mentioned that such programmes shall help the department to attract in the state and help them implement the

policies – which are in the pipeline to the general masses.

He said that there are subsidies and incentives offered by the state governments in other states to encourage selling of EVs.
