5K industries register to upskill youths

More than 5000 industries from acrossMadhya Pradeshhave registered and created vacancies for youths in the past over five days under the Mukhya Mantri Seekho Kamao scheme though technical glitches delayed registration for industries by two days from the scheduled June 7.

As on June 13, 5,551 industries have registered on the portal to provide on-job training to youths in more than 700 sectors. The ministry of Micro, Small and Medium enterprises (MSME) department has set a target to register close to 8,000 small and medium scale units of the state under the scheme.

The is eyeing to skill and train around 1 lakh youths of the state under the scheme and make them Industry ready.

In Indore, around 200-300 industries are registering on the portal designed by the state government.
