A total of 58 tonnes of paddy have been procured in Chhattisgarh till Monday.
The procurement began on November 1 and will continue till January 31, 2023.
A total of 2,568 procurement centers have been set up and Rs 11,640 crore have been released to the 14.66 lakhs farmers, an official statement said.
The government has to procure about 110 lakh tonnes of paddy for the kharif Marketing year 2022-23.
The rice millers have lifted 35.77 lakh tonnes for custom milling.
