33 new air quality monitoring stations inaugurated in state

Forest, Environment and https://exam.pscnotes.com/Climate-change”>Climate Change minister Hemaram Choudhary inaugurated 33 new Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations at a state-level event organised atAlbert HallonWorld Environment Day.
The event was organised byRajasthanStatePollutionControl Board (RSPCB) in association with the department of environment and climate change and other stakeholder departments.

The foundation stone of Integrated Resource Recovery Park being established at Tholai, Jamwa Ramgarh, was laid, and the inauguration of Jungle Safari at Bansiyal-Khetri Conservation Reserve was also done during the event.

Rajasthan e-Waste Management Policy, Rajasthan Climate Change Policy and Rajasthan Forest Policy – 2023 were also launched by the minister. Notifications of new wetlands, and a study on plastic waste inventorization in Rajasthan along with the RSPCB brochure were also released.
