More than 10 truck loads of medical waste weighing 200 metric tonnes have been dumped on the roadside on Ponniyamman Koil Street in Iyyappanthangal. Since it was a mix of medical and solid waste, authorities said it could have come from small clinics and hospitals. The biomedical waste includes syringes, tubes, tablets, medicines and other medical waste.
