Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that a huge and grand temple of Sant Ravidas would be built at Badtuma near Sagar at a cost of Rs. 100 crore. Couplets and teachings of Sant Ravidas will be engraved on the walls of the temple. The Personality and work of Sant Ravidas will also be displayed in the temple premises.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the sisters and daughters are highly respected in the state. No distinction is made between men and Women. After Ladli Laxmi Yojana for daughters, now Ladli Bahna Yojana has been launched for sisters, in which one thousand rupees will be given to poor and middle class sisters. Food, Education, medicine, house, EMPLOYMENT are being ensured for everyone in the state. There is no caste distinction in the state, no one is big or small, everyone is equal, everyone has equal opportunity and everyone is respected equally.
Chouhan said that under the Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana, a pilgrimage train will go from Madhya Pradesh to Banaras, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas.
He announced that 20 percent of the land would be reserved for SC and ST youth to set-up industries. In the MSME cluster policy, a cluster will be given to the SC industrialists. Along with this, land will be given to SC category for setting-up allotted petrol pumps.
Nodal officers will be appointed in the Industries Department to guide the SC category. Relaxation will also be given in the store purchase rule in the service and trading center. Chouhan said that to ensure the safety of sanitation workers, now the manholes will be cleaned with only machines.
