Thegovernment has allocated 100 crore each for establishment of exclusive varsity for Women and forest in the state.
As proposed, the Koti Womens College will be upgraded into a womens university and the forest college at Mulugu will be turned into a university.

The womens university would

enable women to venture into new fields such asSTEMand humanities. It would research in some key areas and give greater opportunities to women. With forest university, the government is creating a Niche in this field.
