The All India Pre-Service Examination (Apsc<\/a>) is a national-level examination conducted by the https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/<\/a>union-public-service-commission”>Union Public Service<\/a> Commission<\/a> (UPSC<\/a>) for the recruitment of officers to the Indian Administrative Service (Ias<\/a>), Indian Police<\/a> Service (Ips<\/a>), Indian Forest Service (IFS), and other Group A and Group B Services<\/a> of the Government of India. The APSC is one of the most prestigious examinations in India and is considered to be one of the toughest examinations to crack.<\/p>\n

The APSC is conducted annually in two phases: the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. The Preliminary Examination is a two-hour objective-type examination consisting of two papers: General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II. The APSC is a highly competitive examination and the number of vacancies offered is very limited. In the year 2023, a total of 100 vacancies were offered for the IAS, 80 vacancies for the IPS, and 60 vacancies for the IFS. The number of vacancies offered for the Group A and Group B services is even lower.<\/p>\n
