Eligibility Criteria for apset Exam 2024

The APSET exam is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various postgraduate programs in engineering and technology offered by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other government and private engineering colleges.

The exam is held every year in the month of May. The eligibility criteria for APSET 2024 are as follows:

The APSET exam consists of two papers, Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is of 100 marks and Paper II is of 150 marks. The duration of each paper is 3 hours.

Paper I consists of questions on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Paper II consists of questions on Engineering Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Machine Design.

The APSET exam is a qualifying exam. The marks obtained in APSET are not considered for admission to any institute. The admission to various postgraduate programs in engineering and technology is based on the performance of the candidates in the JEE Main exam.
