The exam is held twice a year, in February and December.<\/p>\n<p>The eligibility criteria for the AFCAT exam are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age: The candidate must have been born between 2nd July 1999 and 1st July 2005 (both dates inclusive).<\/li>\n<li>Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.<\/li>\n<li>Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed the 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.<\/li>\n<li>Height: The minimum height for male candidates is 162 cm and for female candidates is 152 cm.<\/li>\n<li>Chest: The minimum chest measurement for male candidates is 77 cm (unexpanded) and 82 cm (expanded). There is no chest measurement requirement for female candidates.<\/li>\n<li>Weight: The weight of the candidate should be proportionate to the height.<\/li>\n<li>Vision: The candidate must have normal vision in both eyes with no color blindness.<\/li>\n<li>Hearing: The candidate must have normal hearing in both ears.<\/li>\n<li>Physical fitness: The candidate must be physically fit and should be able to undergo the physical fitness test conducted by the IAF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The AFCAT exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is a 100-mark objective test of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics and English. Paper II is a 200-mark objective test of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.<\/p>\n<p>The AFCAT exam is a very competitive exam and only a small <a href=\"https:\/\/exam.pscnotes.com\/percentage\">Percentage<\/a> of candidates are selected for the final interview. The final interview is conducted by a board of officers from the IAF.
