The Air Force Common Admission test (AFCAT) is an exam conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) for the recruitment of officers in the flying, ground duty and technical branches of the IAF. The exam is held twice a year, in February and December.

- Weight: The weight of the candidate should be proportionate to the height.
- Vision: The candidate must have normal vision in both eyes with no color blindness.
- Hearing: The candidate must have normal hearing in both ears.
- Physical fitness: The candidate must be physically fit and should be able to undergo the physical fitness test conducted by the IAF.
The AFCAT exam consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is a 100-mark objective test of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics and English. Paper II is a 200-mark objective test of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
